Atascosa County Warrant RecordsAtascosa County Warrant Records

Contact the office named on the notice. Start with the court clerk. Atascosa County warrant questions may belong with the issuing court, Sheriff, or clerk that holds the record. The District Clerk handles district criminal and felony-related files; a JP or municipal clerk handles its court’s citations. The county PIA route is for eligible government records. Use the contact list below to match the request to the office’s role, then ask what details it can confirm and whether a written request or appointment is needed.

Not a Government Office. The site cannot verify a warrant, change a court file, accept money, post bond, or arrange an appearance. Only the issuing court can confirm its current case status; the Sheriff can answer questions about Sheriff-held records and service.

Where to Request Official Records

Choose the office named on the citation or case paper. These public contacts serve different purposes; a jail, police, and court question may go to separate desks.

  • Atascosa County Sheriff: 1108 Campbell Avenue, Jourdanton, TX 78026; 830-769-3434. Dispatch is option 1. The page lists open-records and reports at extension 2243, booking at 2231, and records email reports@acso-tx.org. The office describes service as available around the clock; confirm the front-desk appointment before visiting.
  • County Public Information Act requests: written requests and the form are listed on the county required-postings page. The county lists pia@co.atascosa.tx.us. Describe the record and date range; charges may apply.
  • Atascosa County District Clerk: 1 Courthouse Circle Drive, Suite 4-B, Jourdanton, TX 78026; 830-769-3011. The office lists Monday through Thursday, 8 to 4:30, Friday until 4, and a noon to 1 lunch closure. Contact it for district criminal and felony-related records.
  • Atascosa County Clerk: 1 Courthouse Circle Drive, Suite 102, Jourdanton, TX 78026; 830-767-2511; Monday through Friday, 8 to 4:30. Ask about records and services within that office’s role.
  • Justice or municipal citation: contact the JP precinct or city court named on the notice. Atascosa County’s four Justice Courts and five municipal courts keep different case routes; a city payment portal is not a countywide warrant search.

The Texas Public Information Act is in Government Code Chapter 552. A request may be narrowed or redacted under law, and no page can promise a response time or free production. Ask the receiving office whether it is the right record holder before sending sensitive identifiers.
